Algeria, Algerian People’s Democratic Republic, is a country in North Africa. Algeria also happens to be the second largest country in the entire African continent. Algerian border in northeastern Tunisia, Libya in the east, Niger in the south east, Mali and Mauritania in the south west, and Morocco. Algeria only a few kilometers from the annexed territory, Western Sahara, which is located in the west. Constitutionally, Algeria is an Islamic state.

Many of Algeria is a coastal area is hilly, sometimes even the mountains. This area provides some great port. Only the south coast is an area known as the Tell, which is a very fertile soil. Atlas Mountains in the south, and even further south is the Sahara desert. Some of Algeria’s largest cities: Oran, Algiers and Constantine.
Algeria’s climate is very hot. Wet hair and dry further inland you travel. Despite the mild coastal climate, winter in the mountains is very serious. Algeria is a country that is very vulernarable for the Sirocco, which is the hot dust and sand that the wind can tear the country this summer.
